Truss Ops Co ("Truss Ops," "we," "us") operates the Truss Ops software platform, related field and office tools, Sentry PM AI features, and public Field Box surfaces. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
This Policy works together with our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning in the Terms.
1. Who this Policy covers
- Workspace customers and their users (owners, project managers, leads, crew, invited subcontractors / sponsored users).
- Visitors to our marketing sites and public pages.
- Field Box submitters who use NFC or public capture tools without (or before) creating a full account.
2. Information we collect
Account and workspace data
- Name, email, phone, role, company/workspace identifiers, and authentication data (via our auth provider).
- Billing-related identifiers and subscription status processed by our payment processor (currently Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers on Truss Ops servers.
- Settings, feature flags, module access, and preferences (including language and presentation preferences).
Operational / User Content
Content you or your users create or upload in the Service, such as:
- Projects, materials, crew logs, site notes, change directives, expenses, invoices, contacts, punch/QA records, and related notes.
- Photos and attachments (including field photos) and project documents (plans, specs, PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, and similar files).
- Metadata associated with those records (timestamps, project links, and similar).
Device and usage data
- Approximate technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service (for example, IP address, user agent, error diagnostics).
- Optional device permissions you grant (camera, location) for field capture features; consent choices may be stored locally on the device.
- Session tokens stored in the browser (for example, localStorage) so you can stay signed in.
Field Box
Submission payloads, email addresses you provide for PDF delivery, device or tag identifiers used for rate limits, and temporary stored documents until convert, delete, or retention expiry.
Communications
Emails we send or receive (invites, digests, Field Box PDFs, support, transactional notices) via our email provider (currently Resend).
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service (including multi-tenant company scoping).
- Authenticate users, manage roles, and process subscriptions.
- Generate PDFs, reports, emails, and in-app notifications.
- Provide optional AI features (Sentry PM) you enable, including sending relevant content to AI model providers to fulfill the request.
- Index and search documents (including OCR/text extraction and embeddings where those features apply).
- Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
- Communicate about the Service, billing, and material policy updates (including in-app notices).
We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with:
- Service providers / subprocessors that help us run the Service, such as hosting, database/auth/storage (e.g., Supabase), payments (e.g., Stripe), email (e.g., Resend), and AI providers for enabled features.
- People you authorize inside your workspace (teammates, invited subs) according to roles you configure.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the Service.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not share your workspace content with other customers except as you enable (for example, optional scrubbed contribution programs) or as needed for support you request.

Depending on your location and role, you may be able to:
- Access or update profile information in the app.
- Ask your workspace owner/admin to correct or remove operational records.
- Disable optional AI or contribution settings where provided.
- Withdraw device permissions in your device OS settings.
- Sign out and clear local session data from your browser.
- Request deletion or export assistance by contacting us (workspace owners should initiate company-wide requests).
We may need to verify your identity and authority (especially for company data) before acting on a request.
